My Project

Seven years' worth of travels to Thailand, Peru, Kenya, India, Brazil, Greece, Japan and on, become, like so many photographs, misleading statistics in a much more valuable equation."Those who seek beauty are really in search of truth." There is no pretense in walking the world. The physical terrains and chakratic arteries of the planet taking their tolls on even the most capricious of idealists. The shaman is his own sickness and healer, the good road his trusted and benevolent master, the path his ultimate patient, the journey his eventual medicine.

MyronChristian Macauley is not a journalist, his narrative speaks of no finity but rather the aleph, the number to which we must aspire. The moment where Brazil is no longer an effigy, Africa no longer a continent, and America no longer a country. His work inspires awe and enigmatic skepticism. Can we do that? How did we do that? How was this done? Our past becomes superficial, the artist becomes irrelevant, as do our opinions, our hatred, our form. Subject begins to take root and burn, a desire is born where once there was knowledge.
